Moore Middle School
Take it to the Next Level
Mustangs,
We are pleased to invite you to an orientation event at Moore Middle School, home of the Moore MST Magnet Program. You are joining a rich heritage of students who have attended Moore since 1955, and you can be very proud of your choice to prioritize your education by coming to Moore.
Your A1 class location has been mailed to your home. You will report to this classroom on August 16, 2023 at 8:25 AM. This is where you will receive your complete class schedule, first day documents, student planner and identification badge with grade level Moore lanyard.
Sixth graders and new students, please plan to attend New Student Orientation on August 10 from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Al Harris Gymnasium. All guests may park in the parking lot on the south side of campus (enter from Golden Road on east side of campus) and use the athletic entrance to enter the gym. Students, bring your invitation letter with your A1 class location, and take a tour with a teacher to see your classroom for the first day of school!
Following the program, mingle in the cafeteria and courtyard, purchase Kona Ice, join PTA, sign up to volunteer on campus, and purchase spirit gear. Please review the school supply list and dress code policy on the Moore website.
We look forward to meeting you at this event, and we are especially excited to see you every day at school this year. Middle school is an exciting new adventure, and we will be with you every step of the way to Take it to the Next Level.
Welcome Back Moore Mustangs!
To our new 6th graders, you are about to embark on an unforgettable middle school journey. It's okay if you have some "first day jitters". Your teachers, coaches and administrators will be here to help you every step of the way. It won't be long before you know your way around the campus, and have your entire class schedule memorized. Don't blink, because middle school will be over before you know it. That's why we want you to get involved in lots of extracurricular activities. Remember, involved students are successful students.
7th graders, you have a whole new set of electives available to you this year. From science enrichment courses, to performing arts and athletics, middle school is about to become even more fun. Being responsible and diligent in your class work will enable you to enjoy participation in these enriching activities.
8th graders, you are our new campus leaders. We are proud of all that you have accomplished so far. And now, we look to you to show your classmates what it means to "Take it to the Next Level". Mustang Up! See you on Wednesday, August 16.
