NEW TARDY POLICY
Tardies 1-4: Teacher addressed. Must notify student each time they are tardy and make contact with parent at least once.
Tardy 5: Administrative Referral entered in Infinite Campus: Student is issued a tardy contract and parent contact is made by administrator.
Tardies 6-8: Administrative Referral and Administrative Detention will be assigned by administrator.
Tardy 9 and up: Administrative Referral and ISS assignment by administrator.

On Saturday, February 12, 2022, Warner Robins High School FCCLA competed in Star Events. The following students placed in the following categories:
Macy Stephenson created a business plan for a boutique called “Southern Street Boutique”. Macy placed Gold in the Entrepreneurship Star Event advancing to State. Jordan Ray repurposed greeting cards into an art print creating a sunset and a shaped bowl to hold jewelry. Jordon placed Gold in the Repurpose Redesign Star Event advancing to State. Olivia Andrews and Wendy Solano competed in Chapter Service Project Star Event. The FCCLA chapter made fidget blankets for the memory care centers in our area. Olivia and Wendy gathered information about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to showcase the project completed by our FCCLA chapter. Olivia and Wendy placed Silver at Region advancing to State. A’Niya Bivins and Haylee Robinson competed in the Professional Presentation Star Event achieving Silver and advancing to State. A’niya and Haylee presented a presentation titled “Hope for Tomorrow” to three different groups to inform people about the need to adopt teenagers out of foster care. Shamyla Vance competed in Fashion Construction Star Event creating an elegant fashion for an evening out. Shamyla titled her project “Mode Elegante” meaning elegant fashion. Shamyla placed Silver in Fashion Construction advancing to State in March. Congratulations to all the competitors who competed in Star Events at the Region level and advanced to State Leadership in March.
Jiacareya Breland (12th) finished the final painting for Houston county healthcare’s IV therapy wing. Congrats!

Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy Meeting
Chick-fil-a Leader Academy will meet in Mrs. Winters’ room D29 on March 9th after school from 3:15 to 4:15. We will be discussing our Spring Community Outreach project! See you there!

THEATRE CALENDAR FUNDRAISER
Celebrate the successes of Warner Robins High School by purchasing a calendar featuring the exciting activities offered campuswide. We are selling 2022 calendars to help pay for State Championship rings. Calendars are $10 and can be shipped or picked up at the school.

TENNIS TEAM
The tennis team is selling tidal wave car wash tickets to raise money for their uniforms. Ask any tennis team player and they will tell you what a great deal these tickets are. Only $10 each for a $20 car wash ticket to tidal wave. If you don’t find a tennis player you can always get them from me in the front office.

We are moving quickly through the second semester. Parents, please make sure you are keeping your child on track with grades, attendance, and preparedness. We look forward to seeing you at Academic Evening Advisement. Also, please make sure you take advantage of the opportunities to make your voice heard. Be sure to register for the Shared Decision Making Zoom, and fill out the Parent Satisfaction Survey, to participate in the collaborative process.
