Teacher Appreciation Week May 3rd - 7th

May 3rd through May 7th is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Our P.O,P. (Parents of Plano MS) group has planned some fun activities and decorations throughout the week to celebrate and show some love for the outstanding teachers at Plano MS! Thank you parents for your help, we APPRECIATE you! I encourage you to consider sending a quick email to your student's teachers to show them your appreciation for their commitment to our students. As a parent of middle school age children myself, I always look at what happens in our classrooms and building through the lens of "Would I want my child in this classroom". I can say with 100 % confidence that there is not a teacher in our school I would not want my own child in their classroom. They are really an outstanding group of teachers and staff who are dedicated to the best interest of every students, and we are fortunate to have every last one of them. APPRECIATE you Plano MS teachers and staff!!!

Rock Your School Day! May 7th

Our first annual Rock your School Day will be Friday May 7th! All students will be participating, learning, having fun, and most important ENGAGING! Students can help add to the excitement by wearing their best rocker gear or Plano Purple Pride attire! Start planning your "fit" for Rock Your School Day.

Tuesday May 4th No afternoon Zoom Support Session

On Tuesday, May 4th Plano MS teachers and staff will not be available for afternoon support sessions. Staff will be participating in a whole staff meeting and will not be available for students to attend support sessions that have been taking place in the afternoons. All afternoon sessions will resume on May 5th. Thank you for your understanding.

Mask Reminder

Students are to bring a mask to school, including after-school activities. While we do not mind providing a disposable mask to those who need it, this is a reminder to bring your own mask to school and after school activities. Storing a clean spare mask in your school bag or jacket pocket could help you avoid needing to use a disposable one!
