EDUCATOR OF THE WEEK
This week's Educator of the Week is Mr. Mike Fish. Mr. Fish is the talented School Psychologist at the Daniel Webster School. He is a champion for every student at the DWS and collaborates with teachers and staff to always find a way to meet their needs. Very few people are as positive and enthusiastic as Mr. Fish and he epitomizes the concept of: "Every Student. Every Day. Whatever it Takes". We are fortunate to have Mr. Fish on our team and we thank him for all that he does to make the DWS and our District better. #bettertogether.
AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PRINCIPAL WILLIAM CAMPIA
Dear Eames Way Families and Community,
After 49 years in education, I have made the decision to retire from the Marshfield Public Schools at the end of February 2023.
It has been an amazing career which began in the town of Swansea in 1974 with a stop along the way in the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District and 1996 brought me to Marshfield where I served as the Director of Pupil Personnel Services and finally, in 1999, to Eames Way School as Principal.
My educational journey has been marked by so many wonderful memories and experiences but none as wonderful as that of being the Principal of the best school, the best children, the best parents and the best staff.
For the past 24 years, it has been a joy to work alongside our hardworking and dedicated staff who value education and serve as models of professionalism, best practices and love for what they do as educators.
I extend my appreciation to our parents and community partners who have supported and promoted our school. You have been key in creating a rich, full learning experience for our students. In fact, you are a key part of our school motto, “Parents as Partners”.
Thank you everyone and a special thank you to all the wonderful parents that have served on the PTO and its many committees, the Enrichment teams and the School Council. Additionally, a special thank you to my fellow administrators and the Marshfield School Committee.
Finally, please know that it has been a pleasure and an honor to be part of the Eames Way School family and in turn the Marshfield Public Schools. Your children have been a gift to me as has the staff of EWS. I will forever hold their smiles close to my heart as I “move-on” and walk out the door into my future.
With gratitude, love and appreciation.
Respectfully yours,
Bill Campia, Principal-EWS
AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PRINCIPAL ROBERT KEUTHER
Dear Marshfield High School Students and Families,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to share with you that I will retire at the end of this school year on June 30, 2023. I have served as the principal of Marshfield High School for the past 19 years and have invested in our students of our community. During my time here, I have worked with the most amazing faculty, staff and leadership team who have challenged our students to grow and learn. We have always put students first at the heart of our decisions and I am truly grateful for the incredible opportunity I have had as Marshfield High School Principal.
“We are Marshfield” is our cry and I am always amazed at the support our community has shown our high school. Our Marshfield is a special place and I thank our families and friends for your investment in our schools.
Finally, I have watched your children grow and become wonderful adults. There is no higher honor and privilege as an educator than to be part of students learning, growing and becoming adults. Please know that I will always be a RAM and our high school will always hold a special place in my heart. It has been my honor to serve all of you.
All My Best,
Bob Keuther
