Dear E.O. Green Families and community members,

Today we conclude with May and launch an exciting month of June 2021. In the last month of school, our students and staff will be busier than usual. Here are some friendly reminders:

• Monday, May 31, 2021, Memorial Day Holiday, No Classes, the school will be closed.

• Please make sure that your student is returning to school the history and language arts textbooks.

• Enroll in ASES today! The after-school program is now enrolling students for the next school year, 2021-22. Please visit the link below for further details.

• Promotion is soon approaching, two promotions on 5/16 and 5/17. Please see the detailed promotion information below.

• GREEN is collecting the Chromebook, charger and protective black case the last days of school, June 16 and 17. Therefore, your student should expect to have an instructional class schedule that will include a combination of in-person and asynchronous work for the last days of school.

• Families, you are invited to participate in the upcoming CLAVE parent workshops on June 2, 2021, from 6-7:00 PM. This workshop is a great opportunity to participate online and in the comfort of your home.

• HES District Office sent you information about the Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy Registration Form.

For the 21-22 school year, HESD will be offering a limited number of spaces in the Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy for students in grades kindergarten through 6th. Grades T.K., 7th and 8th will not be offered next year. Selection for Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy will be based on a lottery from applications received between May 18-June 1. Applications received after June 1 will not be included in the lottery and will be placed on a waitlist after those students who were in the lottery, but were not selected.

Please complete the registration form below to register your child for the 2021 HESD Hueneme at Home Digital Learning Academy. If you have more than one student, you must complete a separate registration form for each student.

Students are encouraged to wear uniforms, but non-uniform attire is optional if you have outgrown your school uniform. Please review the guide below. The first two pages describe the uniform policy and the third page describes the non-uniform dress code policy and items to avoid wearing on campus.

Future Trio Students,

Are you interested in joining TRIO? TRIO is a program offered at EO Green to help support students through their education. Students will receive important information about high school and college with consistent guidance over the years. If you are interested in TRIO, please fill out the form as soon as possible. Students already enrolled in TRIO don't need to fill out an application.
