National School Counseling Week is February 6-10, 2023. I have had the honor to serve as the school counselor for Madison Elementary for 20 plus years. Daily attendance is important. Our daily goal is 96%. We must have less than 16 students absent to achieve our daily goal- "SWEET 16". Help us reach our goal by encouraging daily attendance at your home.

Achieve perfect attendance each week and earn a raffle ticket for your chance to win a free bicycle. There will be 4 bicycles raffled at each grade level. Each winner will also receive a free helmet. Each week you have a chance to earn a ticket. Will you be a winner? CEC is sponsoring bicycles for this event.

In honor of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo we will have Western Wednesday on

February 15 and February 22.

Wear your Fiesta attire. This event is for all students and staff.

If you have already registered your student for testing, you do not need to sign up again. The same QR code will be valid. Bloom Community Labs and Community Labs willoffer free COVID testing for students and staff on Wednesday March 1 and Wednesday March 29th . If you not have already registered, you need give your consent to have your child tested by completing the online application. You only need to register once. The Board of Trustees voted to waive the 2 days we were closed due to inclement weather of January 31 and February 1, 2023. This means that Monday, February 20, Presidents' Day is a holiday and June 1st will remain as Student's Last Day of School.
