Health Office Updates
- Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the US.
- The disease has no obvious symptoms at early onset and vision changes are gradual.
- Annual eye exams are the #1 preventative measure in preventing this disease.
- Please schedule annual eye exams for yourself and your students.
- If you need assistance finding a provider, please reach out to your school nurse.
- Vision screenings for students will be taking place at school for certain grades per DESE guidelines.
Health Tips
- Students should be dressed in layers..... Bundled up to stay warm while in the outdoors and able to take off heavier items when overheated indoors.
- Update flu shots and regularly washing hands to fend off germs.
- Keep students hydrated by sending a refillable water bottle with them to school.
- Serve your family warm, nourishing meals and promote a sleep routine to ensure plenty of rest to support your immune system.
- If your student is feeling under the weather, don't hesitate to reach out to the school nurse for guidance.
- Your well-being is our priority!

Hadee's Special Hot Chocolate
- Heat equal parts evaporated milk and milk of choice
- Add the following to taste:
- Coco Powder
