Norse Area Learning Center
And they're off!
Norse gets off to a running start!
September 8, 2023
Norse students and parents, thank you all for a wonderful first week of school. It was so awesome to see all the students return. Here at Norse ALC we are focused first and foremost on building relationships with our students. In our opening 'Norse' meeting, ask the student's they'll fill you in:), we talk about exactly that. In addition, we walked through our expectations and how we do business at Norse ALC. We maintain high expectations for all students and are committed to developing and maintaining relationship with each student. We believe that all students can achieve their goals and go on to great things! It is going to be an awesome year! Thank you so much for sending your student to Norse... we love having them!
Warm Regards,

What's new at Norse for 23-24 - Speakers Corner
On September 20th Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) will be coming to visit Norse. They will share with the students the opportunities available to them at ARCC, various programs, financial aid information, registration information, PSEO options and more! Then, we will schedule a field trip to ARCC (date TBD). This will allow students to reflect on what they learn when ARCC visits us, so when we go there, they have some perspective on what they are going to see and do during the visit.
On September 27, Pine Technical and Community College (PTCC) will be visiting Norse. Same process applies. they will visit us and then we will visit them!
Throughout the course of the school year we will have a variety of speakers join us to share experiences and opportunities. Potential visitors include: Lori Tapani, Co-President of Wyoming Machine; NBPD Police Chief Dan Meyer; NBFD; National Guard, Veterinary Technician, and we are still working on developing these opportunities.
