    Appropriate Dress

    As we move into fall and it gets colder out please make sure your students are appropriately dressed. All students go outside everyday unless it is -10 degrees below windchill.

    **Start preparing for winter weather too as it could come earlier than anticipated.

    Labeling Items

    Make sure to label student's items with their names or initials so they can be easily identified if they lose them.

    Meet Mrs. Baumtrog!

    Hello! I am Mrs. Baumtrog. This is my 10th year teaching and 6th year in Minnewaukan. I love teaching, especially here in Minnewaukan. We have some of the BEST students and staff around. My husband and I have two children and one dog. I love to be outside, play with my children, plant flowers and spend time with family.

    Meet Ms. Ricter!

    Hello my name is Lori RIcter. I am a special education teacher and work with students in pre-k thru 5th grade. This is my 2nd year at Minnewaukan Schools. This is my 34th year of teaching and I must say that Minnewaukan has an amazing school that strives to meet all students' needs. I live in New Rockford and have 2 children. My daughter is going to school to be a Cosmetologist and my son is a Junior at Carrington High School. I enjoy reading, running, the outdoors and playing cards with my family. I look forward to another amazing year. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact me.


    Meet Mrs. Thompson

    I started my job as a 2nd grade para in 2006. I’ve worked mainly as a 1st grade para in the years I’ve been here at MPS. I enjoy it very much and love getting to know and work with our wonderful students here at Minnewaukan. It's also fun to be able to work at the same place as my husband, Mr. Thompson. We live on a farm with our dog, cats, chickens, ducks, and 2 horses. We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren so we enjoy spending time with them on weekends and holidays. I love our season and enjoy working in my garden all summer. When it’s cold I love reading, baking, and sewing.

    Procedures

    Student of the Month

    Each grade level will be eligible to receive student of the month.

    They will be recognized on the school website and FB page as well as receive a small reward for their accomplishment.


    Student engagement staff will look for when nominating a student of the month:


    • Good Attendance!
    • Completion of Work!
    • Collaborates well with peers and staff!
    • Follows school expectations!
