Tech Tidbit: Are you Tweeting? Maybe you should!
I know we've talked about it in the past, but I just wanted to throw out a reminder not to forget about this as a resource. A neglected Twitter is essentially a useless Twitter. If you aren't putting out useful or interesting posts, I don't have any reason to follow you!
Here are some tips if you want to "show off" this way:
- Make a commitment. Perhaps you want to commit to tweeting just once a week. Cool! Do it!
- Find the easiet way for you. For some, this may mean putting the app on your phone. I know that's the easiest for me. When I'm visitng a classroom, it means I can snap a picture of something cool and then quickly and easily tweet it out.
- Follow people. You're more likely to get followers yourself if you find the right people to follow. (i.e. Follow CPS_DouglassHS. I'll retweet your stuff!)
Need help? Let me know you're interested and I'm happy to sit down with you during a time that's good for you to get you started.
