Principal's Corner
We had a good week focused on great instruction and activities. I enjoyed seeing everyone for an entire week. Continue to remind students of the expectation to be to school and all classes on time. We lost a full week of instruction, so we want to make sure students get all that is needed skills for them to be successful in their classes and show growth.
Please read the information below about the changes to bus pick up. The changes were made to continue student success and an efficient pick up process. This is in the weekly announcements section.
Have a wonderful weekend!
If you need to send in absence excuses, please email lee.attendance@hsv-k12.org.
Have a great weekend!!!
Sincerely,
Kitrise Torain
LHS Principal

Attendance
Attention FamiLEE! One of our 2023-24 goals is to keep our overall attendance rate at 95% or higher for the entire school year. We were at 92.56% last week are currently at 93.46% for the year. We need your help to continue to improve and reach our goal! Attendance is one of the most important factors that influences how students do in school, and we need each student with us at school every day!!!

Teachers of the Week
Congratulations to Ms. H-S and Ms. May! Here's what students had to say about them:
Ms. Hirschbuehler-Sampson
She cares about her students.
She is really easy to talk to and actually teaches us.
She helps us improve and develops positive relationships with each student in class.
She encourages us on the academic team and helps us learn the information.
Ms. May
She is becoming one of my favorite teachers.
She is nice to students and gives positive comments on assignments in class.
