What is the Continuum of Learning Collaborative?

It is a strategy with a bold goal: To collectively leverage the talent, expertise, and experience of leaders from the region to develop the best strategies for supporting the continuous learning of all students. The Collaborative began in the spring of 2020 and has evolved each year to be responsive and timely based on the needs of districts in the region and education in Ohio.

How is the Collaborative Organized?

During each meeting, participating leaders meet in a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to study, discuss, explore and share about a topic of interest. Based on consensus from members of the Collaborative last year, the three PLC’s for the 2022-23 school year will be: Literacy; Building a Strong Culture; and Preparing Future Ready Students.

Who is the Suggested Audience for each Professional Learning Community?

Literacy: Curriculum Leaders, Literacy Specialists and/or Coaches, Building

Principals, Teacher Leaders

Building a Strong Culture: Superintendents, Central Office Administrators, Principals,

Teacher Leaders

Preparing Future Ready Students: HS Principals, Career Coaches, High School

Counselors, Teacher Leaders

When and Where will the Collaborative Meet?

All meetings will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky on the following dates:

How much does it cost to be a participant of the Collaborative?

There is no cost for staff from member districts of NPESC. All participants must register and are expected to attend a majority of the Collaborative meetings. The cost for staff from non-member districts is $100 per person for the year.
