Welcome future 6th grade parents!!! My name is Carrie Miller and I am the current NMS PTO President for the middle school!! My team and I are so excited to see all the new faces next year at our school! We wanted to reach out to all incoming 6th grade parents to let you know that the middle school has a PTO and we are VERY NEW and VERY active in raising funds and having events to improve our school for ALL students!!
We also have an open position on the executive team for Secretary!! If you are someone who like to take notes, set agendas and organize minutes of meetings-we need YOU- please come out to our next few meetings and show your support- April 18th @7pm or May 16th at 430pm, or email one of us with questions. Otherwise, you can come to our PTO monthly meetings every third Tuesday of the month, starting in Aug/Sept timeframe!!!
One last request, please seek us out on social media, we have a Facebook page called NMS PTO. It is where the majority of our communication is broadcasted. Give us a like and a share to any parents that use Facebook!! Interacting with the page will also help push our updates to the front of your scrolling!
We will need your support for new ideas, volunteer opportunities and most importantly to get involved with all things Nippersink Knights! Be on the look out for our first event in August!!!
