NJHS Induction

Congrats to the large group of students who were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society last Wednesday night! We are so proud of all of you. Keep working hard and applying yourself to do great things!

Yearbook order forms and 8th grade baby pictures

Yearbook order forms were distributed last week to students. Please ask your child for this order form if you would like to order a year book.

8th graders have been given a form for submitting baby pictures for the year book. Please ask your child for that form if you would like a baby picture submitted.

Cougar of the Month for January has been extended into February.

January's cougar of the month theme was kindness. We have decided to extend it into the month of February. Students who are kind to their peers, teachers and staff can be nominated by staff to receive a cougar of the month certificate at the end of February before vacation.

Family sessions:

February 2 at 5:45 p.m. (during open house) – Brennan Center

February 2 at 6:45 p.m. (during open house) – Brennan Center

February 14 at 10 a.m. – online question and answer session

Memorial Student information session TBD

Family sessions: you only have to attend one session it is not a 2 part session :) just extra options for when you can attend

February 6 at 6 p.m. in auditorium – Family information session 1

February 7 from 8-10 a.m. in library – Family information session 2

February 8 at 6 p.m. in auditorium – 8th Grade family night

Winter weather cancellations/delays

Please remember that we are in the thick of winter. Please be mindful of weather, dressing children appropriately and looking for school delays and cancellations. If school is delayed or cancelled and you have signed up for messenger you will get a text message, also you can check the mansd.org website and wmur.

If we have a 2 hour delay your child would be expected to be at school for 9:25.
