Read Your Way to the Big Game

The goal of this contest is to get students and parents excited about reading. What better way to do it than getting Cocky and The Tiger involved?

Students are challenged to read six (6) reading-level appropriate books to qualify for the grand prize--Palmetto Bowl tickets (one winner for each team--Clemson and USC)! Each prize includes four tickets, sideline passes, and pre-game activities. Note: These may be the same six books they're reading for their 1st quarter CMS incentive!

Students will turn in their completed logs to us in the media center (no later than Oct. 25th), and we'll take it from there!

Teachers who participate are eligible to enter drawings for cash prizes for their classroom and school library!

Only SC public school students in grades PK-8 are eligible to participate.

• Five participating teachers will be randomly selected to win $500 for their classroom!
  
• Schools with at least 70% student participation will be entered to win one of two $2,000 school library grants!
• Two teachers and/or media specialists who have the best decorated bulletin board, wall or door, using the contest as a theme will win $500! Digital photos must be submitted by Oct. 18!
• All classes with 100% participation will receive 30 minutes of extra recess on Friday, Nov. 4th!
