Greetings families!

February is here and the groundhog has spoken!

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, which means our class Valentine's Day Exchanges will be here on Wednesday, February 14th. Please have your child make a box (shoeboxes work well) which will hold the valentines they receive from classmates. We ask that this be done at home as we are working on other projects in school. Students will display their Valentine's boxes on their desks during the exchange, distribute valentines to their classmates, and have time to talk with one another and open their valentines. You will be receiving an email from your homeroom teacher in the coming week with a list of student's first names.

We would like to remind everyone that our exchanges are treat/candy/snack free in order to ensure the safety of all of our EE Mustangs. Thank you for leaving all candy treats at home on this day!

Night Write February 8, 2018: Think of the setting of a book you love. It could be a fictional setting, historical setting, or realistic setting. Write a story about your visit to that book’s setting and the characters you would meet. What would you have to do to fit into that place? Write at least 10 complete sentences.
