Anacortes Community Connect
Welcome to the Anacortes Community Connect, our new online community bulletin board. This platform is designed to connect local organizations with the Anacortes School District Community.
If you are a local organization and would like to request electronic flyer distribution to the Anacortes School District Community, you may do so through our online request form. Please note that programs, activities, or events must be appropriate for school-aged children and their families.
We hope that this platform will help foster a stronger sense of community and provide a space for local organizations to share their events and activities with the wider community reach. Each event is clickable that takes you directly to the event signup and website!
Check it out and upload your events here.

Attention Class of 2025 Families!
We are a few short months from watching our seniors throw their caps up into the air, and with that comes the tradition of celebrating with the Class of 2025 Safe and Sober Grad Night Party! The Class of 2025 grad night committee has been busy planning a super fun night for the graduates, which happens directly after the commencement ceremony. Attached is a letter with a few more details (not too many though!) as well as a couple of ways to make payment. The online payment link is in the letter but you can also click on the link attached. If you are in need of financial assistance or scholarship money to attend this fun and memorable event, please reach out to your assigned AHS counselor. The deadline to purchase tickets is April 30th, so don't wait! Thank you in advance for your supporting the Class of 2025 Grad Night!

Deception Pass Teen Ambassador Program
Each year, local teens are selected for our Teen Ambassador Program. They learn about non-profit board functioning by participating in Deception Pass Park Foundation events, develop professional writing and presenting skills, and gain valuable connections by working closely with park staff. Then conclude your term by developing a capstone project guided by park staff and your mentor to advance the vision of improving conservation and restoration efforts at Deception Pass State Park.
