Life in a 6-12 School
This is the time of year that flies by! Please make sure you are checking out our web page and posts regarding tryouts, celebrations, End of Year testing, field trips, regular school business, end-of-the-year school business, and summer academy. This summer our North Bryan Summer Academy will be running in the month of June Monday- Thursday 8:30 - 12:00 for 6-12th graders. If you need any assistance from the tornado, please reach out to us and we will support you! Thank you for all you do to make North Bryan ELITE! Sign ups will be coming soon!
ALL SCHOOL NEWS: (6-12)
- Schools were built for scholars to have safe, engaging, and enriching experiences. We have seen a huge increase in "fight club" and various physical aggressions. Because of this trend, we are continuing what was put in place last year. Scholars who participate in a fight may be be assigned 10 days of OSS with a pending hearing for Alternative Placement. Scholars involved in the fight, which may include things such as: videoing, instigating, watching or planning, may be also subject to 5 days of OSS. We are working hard to make sure our campus is a safe place for kids to learn and grow. We appreciate your support.
- Testing continues this week in the lower and upper school with GMAS and EOPAs.
- Please help us with our dress code. Dress codes are a critical part of our school's climate. We are seeing new styles with warmer temperatures.
- Leaving Campus- scholars are not permitted to leave campus without a call or email from the parent to the office. Failure to follow this will result in skipping school consequences.
- Attendance is critical -- please attend school daily and on time and in your assigned area.
- VAPES are on the rise. Please talk to your child about vapes and the danger of them. If any student has a vape or vape cartridge on their person, it is an automatic suspension.
