Happy Bedlam Eve! It's kind of sad to see this is the last regularly scheduled OU/OSU football game, so we wanted to at least go out in style today. There were numerous pictures placed on the Chisholm Facebook page. Whether you yell "Boomer" or "Go Pokes", we had fun with Bedlam Friday today.
Today at Charge Up we were able to recognize Tammy Unruh as Chisholm's 2023-24 Support Employee of the Year! She currently works in our office as our Financial Secretary. Tammy has been associated with Chisholm for quite some time serving as a PTO President back in 2009/10 when her son was a 2nd grader. She has also worked at Chisholm as a lunchroom monitor, and a CAI in Pre K. She worked as a Registrar at Cimarron before returning back to Chisholm as the Media Assistant, before moving into her current role. Congratulations Tammy on this wonderful recognition!
This week it was announced that Edmond Public Schools is partnering with Smart Social. Smart Social is an online resource to provide our Edmond families with information on social media safety. It’s the goal as a district to help provide families with resources so they can make informed decisions for their students. Each month, the district will be sharing a Smart Social Tip of the Month. Just a reminder as we start to see some cooler temperatures during this time of year, our school's lost and found is starting to fill up with lost jackets and coats. By placing your child's name on the tag on the jacket or coat, we can often return those items to their owners. If they are missing something, have them check the lost and found in the cafeteria.
Next Friday, we will be celebrating Veteran's Day. We are having students dress in red, white, or blue for Friday based on specific grade levels:
3rd Grade (White)
Kinder, 1st, and 5th -(Red)
Pre K, 2nd and 4th - (Blue)
