Veteran's Day Concert
The KMS bands put on a successful Band Concert last week with some music specifically for our Veterans. Our Intermediate Band performed "Call to Duty" about those that felt the call to serve our country, and the Advanced Band performed "As Eagles Soar." To Americans, the Eagle represents strength and grace, and in 1782 it was chosen as the emblem of the United States of America.
The KMS bands were also honored to present a Quilt of Honor during our concert. Specialist Wesley Anderson and Staff Sergeant Megan Anderson were presented the Quilt of Honor by their son, Intermediate Band President Jacob Anderson.
Congratulations also to the beginning band for their debut performance of the year. Great job to all the band students and thank you to all those who came to support!
