MST Weekly Update
April 14, 2023

As was mentioned last week, the 3rd quarter ended on April 9th. Teachers had until the end of the day on Thursday April 13th to post grades (we added a day because our internet was down for nearly an entire day). We are hoping to print and distribute report cards by the middle of next week.
A reminder that at this point in the school year, you should be seeing mostly 2s, or even some 3s, on the report card and a comment suggesting that the student is on track. If they still have 1s, they are significantly behind pace and may not earn credit in June. Students may be eligible for summer competency recovery if they can complete the missing work in 4 weeks or less (see schedule below). Otherwise, they may have to repeat the class next year.
MST Spirit Week

What is an IRC? An IRC is an Industry Recognized Credential (or certification) that shows an employer that you have specific skills that may help you obtain a job.
On April 26th, 27th, and 28th there will be an opportunity for any Manchester School District student who is 16 years or older to obtain IRCs in CPR and AED, Customer Service and Resume Writing. These three-day sessions, here at MST, are free of charge. Snacks and lunch will be provided daily.
If interested, please click HERE to register. A permission form is attached below and it must be brought into MST by Thursday April 20th.

All students attending the prom must attend school on the day of the prom. Any student who is absent on 5/19/23 will not be admitted to the prom and there will not be any refunds available.

Students can stop by Student Support Services and sign up for an appointment or use the spreadsheet below to secure a timeslot.. Appointments should last no longer than 20 minutes.
