Join us for the Mental Health Awareness Parent Workshop series which starts October 26th. These in-person workshops have been established to help parents & families deal with mental health matters both in and out of school.

Also please be aware of the new program we are offering our students, families and staff. Florence Township School District students, staff & families looking for help with mental health or substance use, can call Care Solace at 888-515-0595 for 24/7/365 personalized & confidential help finding a therapist or you can search on your own at www.caresolace.com/florence.

Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? If so, please take the time to recommend this person for the Governor’s Educator of the Year Program by completing this nomination form below. Administrators, staff members, students, parents and community members are encouraged to participate. Please complete this form & return to the building principal by November 4th.

We still have spots open for our half-day Preschool Inclusion Program. The goal of this inclusive program is to bring together children with special needs with their typically developing peers in a collaborative classroom environment where students experience early reading and math skills and concepts, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills. Reach out for more information!

• The Preschool Inclusion Program is a half-day program that runs for 2 ½ hours per day from 11:50 a.m.- 2:20 p.m, 5 days a week!
  
• Children must be three years of age by October 1st, 2022, fully toilet trained, and have all necessary vaccinations to be considered eligible to attend the Preschool Inclusion Program.
  
• The non-refundable annual tuition of $3100.00 for the school year will be billed throughout the school year.
• Classes are capped at 15 children
• The program is run by amazing state-certified teachers

On Tuesday, October 18th at 6 pm in the HS atrium, FTMHS parents and students are invited to attend a one-hour overview of the financial aid process and learn about grants, scholarships, and loans offered by the State of New Jersey. You will feel more comfortable with the financial aid process and will leave with an understanding of how to apply for federal and state financial aid. This event is sponsored by the NJ Higher Education Student Assistance Authority
