We are happy to report that our drop off and dismissal lines are moving faster and more efficiently each and every day! Thank you for all that you do to help these systems move quickly and safely.

A few reminders...

• Have your child's name displayed and visible each and every day from your car window/mirror. It helps any teacher on duty identify your child and/or assist with getting them into the car.

• Please be mindful of our wonderful neighbors. We ask that you do not block drive ways, roads, or entrances to neighborhoods. By leaving a space it allows for traffic to flow as much as possible.

• If your student is a back door walker, please encourage them to be respectful of our neighborhood properties by walking on the edge of the yard and picking up any trash they may have dropped.

• Teachers do not always have the time to check their email during class, so If you have a transportation change for your student please call the front office before 2:00 so we can ensure your child gets home the correct way.

• If you are picking your student up before dismissal please bring your ID so we can all your student down from class as soon as you arrive.

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer on our campus please visit the link below to complete your volunteer application. They will contact you when your application has been approved so you can schedule your time to volunteer with your child's teacher. Any parent wanting to participate in a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer day must also be an approved volunteer before their scheduled date.

We will not be able to accommodate volunteers until the application has been approved. A new volunteer application must be completed each school year.

PTA delivered Sonic drinks to our teachers today to celebrate another successful week at Owens. We so appreciate the love, support, and encouragement this PTA pours into our teachers, staff, and students!
