Students who missed fall pictures on September 21st will have the opportunity to take their pictures on our picture re-take day. Picture retakes will be done on Monday, November 5th, beginning at 9:00 AM.

Fall festival is around the corner and we will be in need of donations for some items we will use for activities at the festival. Some of the items we are in need of are as follows:

El Festival de Otono se acerna y tenemos necesidad de donaciones para materiales que se usaran para actividades que se llevaran acabo en el festival. Algunos de los materiales que necesitamos son los siguientes:

• candy for prizes/golosinas para premios
• 2 liter sodas for the ring toss game (these will also be prizes for this game)/ Refrescos de 2 litros para el juego de lanzamiento de aros (estos tambien seran premios para este juego)
• cool whip cans for the pie toss (Latas de cool whip para el juego de lanzamiento de pasteles)
• marshmellows (smore station)/ bonbones
• Hersheys chocolate (smore station)
• graham crackers (smore station)/ Galletas graham
• cakes, pies, cup cakes, cookies for the cake walk/ pasteles, pastelitos, y galletas para el juego de cake walk
• hair paint and spray for the wacky hair station/ spray y pintura de cabello

We would like for all donations to be sent to the school and turned into the front office at your earliest convenience, but no later than Friday, November 2nd. Fall festival will be held on Friday, November 9th, after school. More details will come soon! Thank you in advance for all of your help and dedication!

• November 3rd - HSART Lady Eagles Volleyball team playing in Championship game at Rice University Tudor Field House at 8:30 AM.

• November 5th - 9th: Scholastic Book Fair (after school hours are 3:30 - 5:30 PM)

• November 7th - 4th grade field trip to the Children's Museum of Houston

• November 9th - Annual Fall Festival from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Book fair is right around the corner and we are looking for some parents to help us work the book fair after school throughout that week! So if you are able and interested in helping out, please register a VOLY account if you do not have one and sign up for the volunteer opportunity as soon as possible.

Date of Book Fair: November 5th-9th, 2018/ Dia del Libro de la Feria: 5 al 9 de Noviembre, 2018, from 3:30 - 5:30 PM after school. Students must be with an adult to enter.

It is the procedure of Child Nutrition to not allow the charging of a la carte purchases./ Es el procedimiento de Nutricion Infantil de no permitir el cobro de alimentos que se consideran extra para los estudiantes, (p.ej. leche)

Students are not allowed to purchase a la carte items if their account has a $0 or negative balance. If they are purchasing a milk, we will allow them one charge as a courtesy. The Lunch Clerk will inform the student and parent that there must be funds in the meal account for a la carte purchases. The next attempt to purchase a la carte items will be denied until the account shows a positive balance./ No se permitira a los estudiantes comprar extra alimentos si su cuenta esta en $0 o balance negativo. SI estan comprando leche, les permitiremos una sola compra como cortesia. La encargada de los almuerzos le informara al estudiante y al padre que deben de ver fondos en su cuenta de almuerzo. Para la proxima vez que se compre un extra alimento sera rechazado hasta que la cuenta refleje un balance positivo.

Dear HSART Parents,

All after school clubs are full and are no longer accepting students.

Queridos Padres de HSART,

Todos los clubs despues de escuela estan llenos y ya no se esta aceptando estudiantes.

Just a reminder that students in clubs need to be picked up on time no later than 5:15 PM, unless you have already notified and made arrangements with the club teacher prior to the club for that particular week. Students who are picked up late more than three times are subject to be dismissed from the club. Thank you for your cooperation.

Recuerden que si su estudiante esta en un club es necesario que sean recogidos no mas tarde que las 5:15pm, al menos que usted haya notificado al maestro del club con tiempo en la semana particular. Los estudiantes que sean recogidos tarde mas de tres veces estan sujetos a ser despedidos del club. Gracias por su cooperacion.
