**NEW** Regional Club Leader Training, register by April 8
You are invited to register to attend the Central Region Roundtable for New 4-H Club Leaders. This is specifically planned for club leaders who have been in the role for two or fewer years. We know that being a club leader during this timeframe has been especially challenging due to the chaos of COVID and therefore you may or may not have experienced what it’s “normally” like being a club leader. You may have likely had to figure out how to meet virtually, in-person and even in a combination of both of these and may now be facing some unique challenges in revitalizing your club. Based on feedback from other new club leaders in our region, we are offering this as an opportunity to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and get support for the important work you are doing with young people in 4-H. This will also be an exciting opportunity to connect with leaders both from and outside of your county.
Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2022
Time: 6:30-7:30 pm
Location: Online/Zoom
Register online at https://z.umn.edu/LeaderRoundtable by April 8.

So you want to show an animal at the fair
In an effort to help families find individuals who are willing to lease project animals we are asking for some help. We are often asked by families if they can lease an animal and the short answer is YES! The next question is "Who can I contact about leasing a . . .(species)?" Well, that is a bit harder.
Perhaps you are a 4-H alumni, a farmer, a boarder, or know someone who is willing to help a new project member get started in learning about a particular species. If that is the case we want to hear from you! If you are a member looking to learn more about a species, we want to hear from you too!
Let's help each other! Please fill out a short survey so we can get the process going. All animals need to be ID'ed by May 16th to show at the fair.
