The Panther Periodical - October 23rd, 2023
Dear Eastside Families,
Last week was one of the best weeks of the school year because we had the opportunity to celebrate our students! We began Tuesday with celebrating our Senior volleyball students, followed by celebrating our students who earned A/B Honor Roll, and ending with celebrating our Senior football and athletic trainers! In all of these events, you could see the pride on the faces of students, staff, and parents. One volleyball player spoke of being pushed to heights she and her teammates didn’t believe was possible. An A/B honors student spoke of feeling validated for all their hard work. A football player was acknowledged for advocating for his teammates. These things speak to the importance of acknowledging our students for their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. Who knows what impact it may have on their next decision!
We want to continue to celebrate our students; we will certainly work to get better at doing so.
Have a great week and Paws up!

Sinceramente,

Time students can join a club, discover new interests, connect with peers, and learn to advocate for their community, all during their regular school hours.
