Parents and Guardians,
Illinois 5 Essentials Survey
Each school year, teachers, parents, guardians, and older students have an opportunity to share their views and perceptions about their school by participating in the 5Essentials Survey. 5Essentials survey information is a key tool that our school uses to identify and prioritize areas for improvement. As a parent/guardian, the 5Essentials survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts on the school's effectiveness.
Please take the survey by visiting https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/ and select the appropriate survey to begin. Your feedback is important as we work to continually grow as a school and District.
School Start Times
A reminder that our students are expected to be sitting in their classrooms at 7:40 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and by 9:40 a.m. on Wednesdays. We are noticing that the traffic at the parent drop-off lane at West Circle Drive is getting very light around 7:35 a.m. Please use this route to drop off your students so they can be on time to school.
In Silver and Gold,
Mr. Hawkins

According to Fine Arts Coordinator, Andy Empey, "This is a huge honor to be chosen as one of the best musicians in the state of Illinois. We are very proud of these students for their hard work and dedication to music. They represented Galesburg and CUSD #205 very well!"
