My name is Haley Matkins, I am a registered nurse and the new school nurse for Haw River Elementary! I worked in the hospital setting before becoming a school nurse where I gained a lot of experience. I graduated from UNCG with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I am very excited to be the school nurse here and look forward to working with you all!
Students played multiple games to learn about themselves and careers they may have interest in. They also learned about Career and Technical courses they can take through Alamance Burlington School System and Alamance Community College.
