Thank You Parent Volunteers
TVMS could not do what we do without your support - parents, guardians, friends, family, neighbors - as the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child!"
We want to take the opportunity at the end of the school year to especially thank those of you who gave of your time to volunteer at TVMS in any way. Whether as a chaperone on a field trip, as a Watch DOG in our hallways, or spending the day with your child in their classes, we appreciate you so much!
The Watch DOGS program was a restart after several years. There are so many fathers and father figures who showed up for your students this year! Thank you for attending the Pizza Kick-off party, the Donuts with Dads event, and for signing up to be present in the building. Staff and students alike were always thrilled to find out that a Watch DOG was around!
We trust that your volunteer experience at TVMS was a good one, and we look forward to continuing to welcome volunteers next school year! Be watching for announcements of how you can be involved!
Thank you, again to all of our wonderful volunteers! Have a great summer!
Sincerely,
June Kauffman, Family/Community Engagement Committee

Important Immunization Requirements for 2023-2024 School Year - 7th Grade Students
Effective the first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year, 1 dose of Tdap vaccine and 1 dose of Meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) are required by the state of Maryland for all students entering grade 7. Many students may have already received these immunizations, but the Health Room may not have the updated immunization record. Please contact your student’s doctor and send or fax an updated copy of your student’s immunizations to the Health Room or schedule an appointment to have your student receive these immunizations. Our fax number is 443-973-5510. The Health Department provides immunization opportunities for kids who are not up-to-date on school-required vaccinations. Call the Health Department at 410-313-7500 for more information and to schedule a vaccination appointment for your child.
If you have further questions, please email Cheryl Harris, TVMS School Nurse, at cheryl_harris@hcpss.org.
