From Our Director

This time of year we have many of our classrooms empty due to our students out on internships learning important trade, business and industry skills. We have several great highlights of students lead activities in partnership with local businesses, National qualifiers for SkillsUSA and HOSA and incredible scholarships that have been awarded. Also, our Summer School registration opened today and is filling fast.

We are doing great things!

Personal Finance Workshop

Members from Johnson Bixby, Alexander Ali from the Client Services Team and Kimberly Baker, CFP®, Director of Financial Planning, had the opportunity to talk with Diesel Technology students about personal finances. From how to read paychecks to understanding 401ks and IRAs, the students learned more about the basics. Our Diesel students have the opportunity to make between $30-$60 an hour the day they graduate high school, depending on the jobs they choose. This was much needed!
