STOP MOTION ANIMATION in Mr. Prince's Classroom

"We had a lot of fun with this activity and plan to do it again in the future. We used the iPad's to get the photos and then downloaded them to the computers and used Movie Maker to create the videos. I made some royalty free music available to them if they wanted to add some music. I was trying to show them how to use a free program to make the videos so they could do this at home. I noticed an app on the iPad's for stop-action videos, so we may try that next time."

Art Students Blog @WMS

We had a great time working with the 8th grade art students at Wayside. We taught Internet safety and helped them set up their Weebly blogs on the iPad's and upload a pic collage.

Flipping the Classroom Tip #6, Consider Collaborating

#EMSTechspert, Scott Boiles, shares FLIPPING TIP #6 this week.

Consider using a buddy system and collaborate with your peers that teach the same subject as you do. If you work closely with teachers in your building, district, or even area, the work of creating the content is more easily facilitated when shared among several people. Also, talk with people outside of your discipline to see what they do and how you can modify it to work with your class.
