Discovery Education

Our district has a subscription to Discovery Education content grades K-12, including videos, current events, and a new board builder (think digital posters) for students to create within their Discovery Education account. We are all able to login using our Hudson Google Apps emails and passwords to gain access to great resources.

Teachers

Username: 7 letters of last name + first initial + @hudson.k12.oh.us

Password: district password

Students

Username: Student ID + @hudson.k12.oh.us

Password: Birthday (grades 6-12 is their chosen password for Google account login)

**Once logged in, choose your building from the alphabetized dropdown list in the upper right and access your saved videos, lessons, content, etc.

Immerse students in virtual filed trips showcasing some of the most famous places on Earth. Register for live tours or browse archived trips by subject, grade level or theme to watch at any time.

Objectives, activities, and teacher guides available with tours as well.

Transcripts are provided for current event videos, which are great for newscasting/roleplaying. They're broken into segments for focused study.
