We revealed our book for this year's Title I Parent Involvement event, "One School, One Book," which is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! We have fun plans in store for all of our students, Pre-K through 5th grade! We sent home information that included a calendar of when we are reading the chapters. We want to thank our Title I staff for making this event possible. Our wonderful Food Service Department at PTS have planned scrump-diddly-umptious themed meals for December 22nd (see below). We also want to thank our PTO for helping us decorate and for supervising our culminating event on December 22nd!

We had another wonderful group of students who earned Student of the Month for November. These are students who not only display our Jones 4-Star Expectations of being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Prepared, but also our PTS Critical Values of Responsibility, Fairness, Honesty, Respect, and Compassion! Well done, Isadora Roper, Zaiden Torres, Henry Krenkel, Connor Polinski, James Kelly, Grayson Warren, Riann Manning, Emma Benard, Landon Eastman, Lucas Sult, Elena Nemecek, Emily Pantoja, Emmalin Cogdill, Kaylee Lehew, Jack Adams, and Elaine Adams!

Mrs. Kentaft led students through a wonderful celebration honoring our veterans for Veterans Day. Our students sang special songs and presented information to the school about the significance of Veterans Day. Our students had their pictures taken with their heroes, which were sent home with them. Thank you to Mrs. Kentaft for planning a wonderful event and to Mrs. Szabo and her helpers for decorating!

Our students were treated to a delicious Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 16th. Their tables had decorated table cloths and dined under battery-operated candlelight! A big "thank you" to our Food Service crew for putting on a wonderful meal for our kids. I'd also like to thank our PTO volunteers who helped serve lunch that day. Our kids loved it!
