From the Principal

I hope you had a wonderful summer, had fun, and got some rest. The summer really did fly by. The staff at Centerburg High School is excited to begin another great year! We have many things coming up in the next few weeks. Please read the newsletter for details.

A little about me...

I am excited to be serving the Centerburg community as your high school principal. This starts my twenty-eighth year in education. After seventeen years as an English teacher and a decade as an administrator, I believe open, two-way communication is extremely important. The school's primary responsibilities are to keep our students safe and to provide a quality education to each student. I will strive to keep your children safe and to make sure they are learning. Open House- August 14 (6:00)
First Day of School- August 16 (Students may enter the building at 7:45 a.m.)
Labor Day- September 4 (No School)

Final Forms

Be sure that you have updated Final Forms for the upcoming school year. Go to the district website, www.centerburgschools.org, and click on "Final Forms" in the menu bar. If you need assistance or don't have a computer and/or internet access please call the school for assistance.

Immunizations

Knox Public Health Department is offering back to school immunizations. Appointments are available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm at their Knox County Community Health Center, 11660 Upper Gilchrist Rd., Mount Vernon OH 43050.
