Getting Ready for Back to School
Back to School Meetings
We will be hosting our Back to School Meetings from Monday, August 29th to Wednesday, August 31st. We highly encourage all of our students and their families to attend. This will provide the ideal time for all of us to team together to go over what school will look like, complete yearly paperwork, take key actions needed for success, and time to create a plan for the year.

Soft Start Schedule
Full-day attendance at Soft Start is required. Each student will only need to attend on their assigned day this week. We will be utilizing this week to ensure that your student has a successful start to the year!
Tuesday, Sept. 6th from 9:00-2:45....FRESHMAN
Wednesday, Sept. 7th from 9:00-1:45....SOPHOMORES
Thursday, September 8th from 9:00-2:45....JUNIORS & SENIORS
School Hours (Starting September 12th)
- School Opens at 8:30 AM
- Breakfast at 8:45 AM
- Class begins (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at 9:10
- School Dismissal
- 2:45 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
- 1:45 PM (Wednesday)
- Friday (Learning Center by appointment only)- Fridays will be dedicated to asynchronous (work from home) time and scheduled interventions on campus. Oregon Department of Education requires students to work Monday through Friday within their course work. Attendance will be taken on Friday based on the Canvas Advisory Attendance assignment and completing assigned work.
Attendance -
**Students are required to have ACADEMIC PROGRESS (work submitted daily) and COMMUNICATION (Advisory Attendance assignment) every day for daily attendance.**. CLA High School students are also required to attend their Advisory session in person each week. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE IF YOUR STUDENT IS SICK OR UNABLE TO COMPLETE COURSEWORK. This information will allow us to code the absence correctly and will prevent an attendance letter from being automatically generated from the student profile.

2022-23 Athletic Clearance Process Update - High School & Middle School
Eagle Point School District 9 - Moving to Digital (web-based) Athletic Clearance for the 2022-23 Seasons for High School & Middle School Eagle Point School District 9 is happy to announce that we will be moving to a digital, web-based clearance process.
* As part of CLA's associate membership with OSAA, CLA students will compete in co-curricular activities with the school district they physically reside in, not necessarily Eagle Point School District 9.

*EPHS Athletic Attendance Policy: All athletes participating with Eagle Point School District are required to meet daily attendance requirements to participate in that day's practice.
