This weekly newsletter contains a review of what was accomplished in class this week and what the kids need to prepare for the next two weeks. Please read thoroughly!

• We Reviewed "One by One", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "Be Prepared", "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2
  
• Worked on notes and pronunciation of words for "He Lives In You"
  
• Review blocking for pages 18-24 and "I Just Can't Wait to be King"
  
• Blocking for scenes pages 29 - 33
  
• Blocking for "Be Prepared"
  
• Ran through blocking several times

Week of February 13 and 14

• Review Music- "One by One", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "Be Prepared", "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2, "He Lives in You", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (with words and without words)

• Review blocking for pages 18-24 and "I Just Can't Wait to be King" 2 times.

• Review blocking for scenes pages 29 - 33 and "Be Prepared" 1 times.

• Run pages 18 - 33 twice, all lines, music and blocking.

• Run through lines and music pages 39 through the Finale.

Week of February 20 and 21

• Review Music- "One by One", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "Be Prepared", "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2, "He Lives in You", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (with words and without words)

• Work on words and notes for “Finale” and "Circle of Life"

• Review pages 18-33, all lines, music and blocking.

• Blocking for scenes pages 39 - 44

• Blocking for "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2

April 2: Costume Fitting, times TBA

April 11: Davidson Jr Show Choir- Spring Break
