Special Election Edition
Get Ready For the Annual Meeting - December 21 at 5:30pm
THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS...SIX (6) MORE DAYS TO GET YOUR VOTE IN - PLEASE VOTE BEFORE 3:00pm ON DEC. 21
- Voting gives owners a chance to choose their Board of Directors.
- Voting gives owners an opportunity to voice their opinions on the past performance of officials.
- Voting expresses their opinions on public issues that affect the Association.
Voting helps bring important documents up to 21st century realities. Voter apathy is a problem in both condominium and homeowners'' associations. Often there is lots of "Venting" and not enough "Voting". If our vote is based upon participation by all voters, then a “non-vote” is essentially a “no” vote. Conversely, if the results are calculated based upon those who actually vote, then a “non-vote” simply is not counted, and (assuming a quorum is established), the result is calculated based upon those who vote on the measure in person or by proxy. You can see where Issue #3 is very important to review and VOTE
See the information below that has been mailed out (via digital or postal service) for the Annual Meeting and Vote.
- YOU WILL BE VOTING FOR THESE ISSUES ELECTRONICALLY OR BY PAPER/PROXY.
You are not voting here...this newsletter is only providing you with the information for your review.
Be sure to scroll through ALL OF THE DOCUMENTS to see the three (3) items you will be voting on and ALL OF THE CANDIDATES BIOS!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER VOTING
For those who received a paper ballet and proxies:
The PROXY is on blue or white paper. You will vote on the business proxy and you will also vote on the Amendment proxy. Both will go in the double pane envelope with the peel away on it. No signature is required on the outside of this envelope.
If you have any questions - call or come to the office - PRIOR TO VOTING. Someone at the office can assist you.
EVERYONE IS INVITED!
We thought it would be great to have a bonfire on Christmas Eve down at South Beach. Since we are supposed to have food to make a bonfire legitimate, feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert for the picnic table. BYOB as always.
Weather is looking very cool, and you may already be booked, so let us know if you can make it ….to give us a feel for ‘numbers’. We will supply paper plates and plastic cutlery and napkins……oh yes, and Xmas music.
Please forward to anybody I may not have included, as I have limited email addresses….and a limited old lady memory. All are welcome, of course.
Start up time is 7:30pm till we all go home to sleep.
EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDENT OF COURSE, but a cool evening will not keep us away.
Season’s greetings from Susan and David
