Dear Jaguar Families,

The end of 1st semester is quickly approaching us ending on Thursday January 25 which leaves only 13 school days left. Please encourage your student to finish strong and make sure they earn all of their credits. Please note that "Jag Help" is available Tuesday-Thursday after school and provides quiet study time and support.

In looking at the weather forecast for the week, it looks like we are in for some very low temperatures along with snow accumulations. We will be monitoring the conditions very closely and will provide updates as soon as any decisions made.

We are also in the process of reviewing our communication methods and our communication tools. To help of communicate more effectively and ensure you are getting the information you need, please consider completing the brief survey that is linked below. The data will help us make informed decisions on moving forward and implementing new tools.

School Board applications due

A team composed of staff, students and Board member will be conducting interviews on Friday January 12 for selecting a new Director of Maintenance and Transportation. The team will be interviewing four very qualified candidates. Pending successful reference checks we are hoping to announce our new person the week of January 15th with them beginning employment shortly afterwards.

One last consideration, Easton School Board has a vacant position, and the Board is seeking applicants.

Interviews of prospective board members will be conducted at a Special Meeting of the Easton School Board on January 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

JH girls volleyball (grades 5-8) will start on Monday February 5th. Students will need a completed physical turned in before the first practice.
