Fall Donation Drive

• Orchestra is hosting a Fall Donation Drive from November 1st to November 15th!

Thanksgiving Break

• No school from November 20th to November 24th for Thanksgiving Break!

Students showed off their amazing skills and new music at this year's Fall Concert! All five orchestras featured a variety of pieces that displayed students' musical talent and dedication! Check out the recordings from the concert on our website under the 'Recordings' tab using the password "littlesusie".

Liberty Orchestra hosted their first fundraiser of the year at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Students won pod points for attending, socialized with friends, and contributed to an amazing turn-out for October's fundraiser!

Students celebrated the beginning of Fall and the Halloween holiday with Liberty Orchestra's Falloween Social! Activities like basketball, friendship bracelets, costume and pie-eating contests allowed students to socialize and compete for pod points!

Orchestra officers participated in this year's Trunk-R-Treat hosted by Liberty Band! Officers passed out candy, dressed up as Willy Wonka and Candyland characters, and offered face-painting to kids!

Congratulations to the students who made All Region this year!! We're extremely proud of everyone who auditioned! Here are the results:

Students who attended this month's Falloween Social were entered into a costume contest! Here are the amazing winners:

Mackenzie Raymond, a junior cellist, is part of Liberty Redhawk's Varsity Volleyball team who this month became undefeated district champions and ranked 5th in 5A in Texas! We're incredibly proud of Mackenzie and her stunning win!

How did you prepare in class for the Fall Concert?

In class, I repeatedly practiced the measures I had trouble on and worked up to the right tempo. I practiced the correct bowings and wrote in my music anything I needed to remember.

What was your favorite part of the Fall Concert?

My favorite part of the Fall Concert was when Camerata played without a conductor and their violin

and viola solos. I also liked The Fire Within that Symphonic played.

What's your favorite thing about Liberty Orchestra so far?

My favorite thing about Liberty Orchestra would be the friendly environment of the socials and the

ice cream.

How did you prepare in class for the Fall Concert?

We prepared for the fall concert by consistently working on staying together, improving intonation, and mostly increasing musicality. Mrs.Waggerman also had us practice playing together as an ensemble by pairing us up with a different instrument.

What was your favorite part of the Fall Concert?

My favorite part about the Fall Concert was seeing all the groups perform. It was really fun to see what everyone else had worked on as well as to support my friends.

What's your favorite thing about Liberty Orchestra so far?

My favorite thing about Liberty Orchestra this year has been the community it provides. Not only are many of my friends involved in the program, but the socials and pods allow for more tight knit and close relationships with other students.
