CWHS Curriculum Week & Registration

In accordance with Ohio law, each student, beginning in grade 9 and continuing on through high school graduation, is required to develop and maintain a graduation plan.

During Portrait of a Graduate Period, students have developed personalized graduation plans. These graduation plans outline graduation requirements and where your student is in making progress towards graduation. Ask your student to share their graduation plan with you! This will assist students and families in making decisions about next year's course requests.

February 7-11 is curriculum week at CWHS: Teachers will talk with students about what they recommend students take next year and will put these Teacher Recommendations into PowerSchool so students and parents can see these as well when the registration window opens on February 14.

Use the grade specific scheduling guide that was given to you in your POG to use at your guide to what classes are offered for you to take next year and fill out the 7-period guide so you can plan out your classes accordingly.

The CWHS Program of Studies has ALL the information you will need to review course descriptions, pathways, etc. Use this Program of Studies to help you determine which classes you wish to take!

Starting February 14-23, the scheduling window will open in PowerSchool. Follow the directions presented in your POG class to schedule your classes for next school year.

If you have questions about what you should schedule, set up a time to meet with your counselor or talk to us during lunches in the cafeteria February 15th or February 18th.
