MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Families,
As we step into the month of February, I wanted to take a moment to share some important updates and reminders.
First, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and collaboration in making our school community thrive. We truly believe that education is a partnership between home and school, and your involvement is invaluable.
February is often associated with love and kindness, and I want to emphasize the importance of fostering these values within our school. Our dedicated teachers and staff are working tirelessly to create a nurturing environment where every student feels safe, respected, and supported. Let us continue to encourage our children to be kind, compassionate, and inclusive towards one another.
We are at the half way point of the school year. It is hard to believe we have completed half of our time together this year. Spend time celebrating the successes, as well as, making goals for the next two quarters.
We are also looking forward to Winter Break this month. Winter Break begins February 17th, spend the week doing things that make you happy!
As always, I encourage you to stay involved in your child's education. Regular communication between home and school is essential for their success. Please remember to check our school website and social media platforms for important updates, upcoming events, and resources to support your child's learning.
Wishing you a wonderful month filled with love, kindness, and growth.
Best regards,
Jodi Coppolo

Attendance
Attendance in elementary school fosters a sense of community. By being present, students have the opportunity to form friendships, build positive relationships with teachers and staff, and actively participate in classroom activities. This sense of belonging contributes to a supportive and inclusive learning environment, which enhances the overall educational experience.

Staying Healthy
I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of maintaining good health practices during germ season. This time of year often brings an increase of colds, flu, and other illnesses.
Here are a few key reminders to help keep our school community healthy:
- Hand Hygiene: Please encourage your child to wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after coughing and sneezing.
- Stay Home When Sick: If you child is feeling unwell or showing symptoms of illness, please keep them at home to prevent the spread of germs to fellow students and staff. If your child is out for five consecutive days, please provide the office with a doctor's note upon their return.
- Healthy Habits: Encourage your child to eat a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest to support their immune systems.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school healthy and safe. Together, we can minimize the impact of germs this season.
