We had a special community circle gathering this morning! Mr. Greg Gascon (a dad of an Ivan Green student) brought in a variety of percussion instruments from around the world to demonstrate for our students. They were SO well behaved, and we are appreciative of Mr. Gascon for sharing his time and talents.
Community circle is also a time for recognition. In addition to 8 new gym class heroes, we recognized to teachers this morning with the newly instated Ivan Green Glow Award. Congratulations to Mrs. Elisabeth Eberts and Mrs. Gretchen Vandemortel for being the inaugural recipients. They were both recognized for their commitment to continues learning, flexibility, and unwavering commitment to their students.
