General Information
September is coming to a close, and this month has been busy. Students have started planning their service projects, independent studies, and Future Cities. Book Clubs have begun reading books like March by John Lewis, The Thing About Leftovers by C. C. Payne, Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George, and many more.
Seventh and eighth graders participating in the Stock Market Game have begun trading and focusing on diversifying their portfolios with stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Sixth graders will start the Stock Market Game in the Spring.
Sixth graders' Social Emotion Gifted Lesson (SEL) focused on not just being gifted but recognizing their strengths, interests, and both positive and negative about being gifted.
Seventh graders' SEL focused on understanding what Gifted Is and what Gifted Means by thinking about what Gifted is from multiple perspectives.
Eighth graders' SEL focused on Intelligence Design and looked at not just IQ but EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient) and SQ (Social Intelligence Quotient).

Gifted Student Service Plans are available to be view on Infinite Campus. When you log into the parent portal, select your child, then click documents. Finally click on GSSP. Please let me know if you would like to add anything or have any questions.
