Greetings Parkway Families! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I can't believe we are starting the last week of September! Although I love summer days at the lake, I am very excited about cooler days and fall fun with family!

Here's a look at our upcoming events and important dates this week:

• September 29: PES Flu Clinic
• September 30: Last day for the Peanut Butter Drive
• October 5: Parkway Spirit Night at Newk's Eatery (See flyer below)
• October 6: Spirit Shirt forms due

If you have not completed and returned the Free and Reduced Lunch forms, please do so by Wednesday, Sept. 29. Even though all students eat free this year, and your child may not qualify for free or reduced meals, we ask that all parents complete the forms. These forms help our school obtain additional funding that goes directly into our instructional programs, parental involvement programs, and interventions. If you need a form, they can be found on the Bryant School District webpage at : Lunch Forms or you can pick them up in the office.

CURRENT STATUS as 9/24/21: LEVEL ORANGE -- MASKS REQUIRED for the week of September 27 - October 1, 2021.

Masks are REQUIRED for students, staff, and visitors during the school day in district buildings and on all school buses. Masks are optional at extracurricular events and outside sporting activities.

Bryant Public Schools has moved to a new method of determining whether students, employees, and visitors will be required to wear a face covering in district buildings and on school buses using data from Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI). ACHI’s current status for residents in the Bryant School District is ORANGE. According to the new policy, masks will be required. For more details, click here.

The district’s mask status will be updated on Friday and take effect the following school day.
