LOCAL Scholarship Highlights

Young Activists Essay Contest

Create an essay or short video about one of the topic choices in the link for a chance to win a cash price of $500, $300, or $200. Apply by April 18, 2025.

Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is available students attending Thousand Oaks High School, Newbury Park High School and Moorpark College who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a post-secondary school (college, training school or technical school). Recommendation of a GPA of between 2.7 and 3.5 from a secondary or post-secondary school. Apply by April 28, 2025

Westlake Women's Club Scholarship

Two scholarships available: a $2,000 scholarship and a $3,000 scholarship. This scholarship is open to boys and girls, and applications are due on April 18th, 2025.

Cash for College Events: Get Help with the FAFSA or CADAA

EOPs: Extended Opportunities & Services at Moorpark College

Eligible students will benefit from this state-funded program designed to encourage the enrollment, retention, and the transfer of students challenged by language, social, economic, and education disadvantages, helping to facilitate the successful completion of their goals and objectives in college.
