Scholastic Book Fair

Our annual book fair is here April 8th - 12th in the Library. You can also order books on line by clicking HERE. Buying form our book fair is a great way to support the La Mesa Library.

Teacher of the Year Announced

Congratulations to Mr. Punpanichigul who has been selected to represent La Mesa as our Teacher of the Year for next year. Ms. Putt has been honorees this year and we look forward to celebrating her this month at Teacher Tribute.

Mr. Punpanichigul has been a math teacher at La Mesa for four years. He is currently teaching Math 8 and Honors Algebra on Team Wolverines. As one of our Robotics team coaches, he has provided an opportunity for students to learn about coding and compete in the First LEGO League events over the past three years. He has also been a regular chaperone on the annual Washington D.C. trip where he spends time with many of our students during Spring Break touring our nation's capital.

Open House

Our Annual Open House will be on Thursday, April 11th 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Click HERE for the flier.

Our 8th Grade families are invited at 5:00 pm to meet with Golden Valley in the MPR for a 9th grade orientation.

Our evening includes food trucks and the smooth sounds of the Lobo Jazz Band.

Please remember that this is also a minimum day with students being released at 12:45 pm.

CAASPP Testing April 29th - May 3rd

Our annual state testing will be the week of April 29th. This is an important week for students to be present.

We also are asking for donations through our PAC for snacks to ensure our students keep their energy up for maximum success. Please use the link HERE to sign up! Volunteers to cover the tables are also needed from 8:00 - 8:45 each morning of testing.
