What's A General Physician?
General Physicians are doctors who care for a variety of medical problems, rather than specializing in one specific bod system. They are the doctors you would go to first for anything from sprains to the flu, who then decide whether or not you should see a specialist.
Do You Have What it Takes?
To become a General Physician it takes 8 years of school and a few years residency training before you can become certified. First you need a bachelor before you can apply for Medical School. General Physicians need to be able to work well under pressure, be willing to accept long hours, and the responsibility for the life of another human.
What's So Good About It Anyways?
There will be a 24% rise in jobs from 2010 to 2020 giving more job opportunities for you.
General Physicians make an average of $181,000 a year.
