Farewell from Dr. Walters

It has truly been an honor serving as the first intermediate principal this year at Blair Oaks Intermediate. I'll be honest, there hasn't been a day that goes by that I didn't learn something new. Your kids are dynamic and have been a part of helping me learn and grow. I look forward to next year as I continue to learn in a new capacity.

Our theme this year was: We Rise by Lifting Others. My hope is that they remember these little nuggets of information as they move on to the next chapter in their lives. You can never go wrong by being kind to others and encouraging each other when they are down.

Thank you for sharing your kids with me this year. We are blessed with positive family and community support. We couldn't do it without you!

Tuesday, August 9 ~ Returning Student Registration - 1:00-6:00pm (this may be changed to the 8th...watch for details)

Wednesday, August 10 ~ Returning Student Registration - 1:00-6:00pm

Wednesday, August 17 ~ Meet the Teacher Night - 5:00-6:30pm

*Only new students enrolling in the district will need to attend New Student Registration on August 4th.

*Students that will be returning to Blair Oaks should attend on EITHER August 9th or August 10th to complete re-enrollment paperwork. Paperwork must be completed prior to the first day of school. If you are not able to make it either of those two days, we ask that you contact the office in August so we can set up another time for you to stop by.

NOTE: BES, BIS, and BMS will all have returning student registration on the same day/time.

Summer School Details

An information page has been emailed to each parent that enrolled their child in summer school. It includes their class assignment, supplies needed, transportation, and other important information. If you did not receive an information page, please reach out to Mrs. Bishop at (573) 634-2808 or tbishop@blairoaks.org.
