JB Update

Today will be my last newsletter home to families due to Thanksgiving break. Next week is a short week. I wish everyone the absolute best and a Happy Thanksgiving.

Wednesday, November 23-Friday, November 25- No school, Thanksgiving break

Friday, December 2- JB and RHS Satellite picture retake Day at Jo Brighton

Monday, December 27-Friday, January 6- No school, holiday break

Monday, January 16- No school, Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Friday, January 20- 1/2 day for students

Friday, February 17- No school for students

Monday, February 20- President's Day no school for students

RHS satellite students will be bussed over to Jo Brighton in the morning then bussed back to RHS

Our building maintenance/food packaging class packs food for Wyandotte Public Schools students through the Blessings in a Backpack program. They also pack food for Jo Brighton students. If you are interested in receiving weekly food assistance (at no cost to you), please complete the following form and return it to the JB office or your child's teacher.

During the school day (8:15-3:01):

• There are designated parent pick up/drop off parking spots in the new parking area
• Parents and students can be buzzed in at entrance 1

During bus arrival (8:01-8:15) and dismissal (3:01-3:15):

• Parents can drop off and pick up their student at entrance 7 (staff parking lot)
• There will be a Jo Brighton staff member at that door to assist
• Parents are not permitted in the building at this time
• Please don't pick up and drop off on 18th street during bussing
