Crazy Doc's rant and raves...
Quick hits:
- Please add McTeacher night to the sign up below.
- Thank you for your focus as we travel from comprehensive to targeted school. The key here is the focus on students. We do not need a special title for that. You are doing great work, we will be working on cleaning up some areas and focusing in others as we prepare for the MAP.
- Congrats to those who were recognized by their parents and nominated for teacher of the year. It is always great to hear the parents support of the teachers.
- If you have something cool going on in class and would like either Misty or I to see, please send us an invite. We love to go and see all the things happening in your room.
Don't forget to keep track of your extra event attendance. Please remember everyone is expected to attend one PTA Meeting this year plus 2 additional events: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xru7fuenf01e2mb01wCoQhbrDw_zVEI_wImMFI7wA1g/edit?usp=sharing
Teacher Spotlight
Kroenke: She integrates curriculum into Art Classes and assist teachers with anything and everything they may need. She also inspires students to become the best they can be in all areas of their education and ignites the passion into staff so we can become better educators.
Do you have a idea for a person in the spotlight? Please let me know.
FROM MISTY
This time of year is tough, always staying inside. I've linked some articles below to maybe rejuvenate your ideas and keep kiddos engaged. Don't forget to consider team building activities. This is a great way to reconnect with your students and maintain the relationship you've been working on all year! I've linked in an article on team building ideas too!
And for FUN, my favorite "Kid Snippets" video!
*If you'd like something shared in the March Bingham family newsletter, please let me know.
What are you needing support with? What information can I provide you in the "News & Notes" that might support you and your students? Email me your topics and I will do some finding. :)
Team work makes the dream work! #ONEteamONEdream
On-Going Reminders
- If you send a student to the focus room please do so with one of the tickets Casey has provided, that way she knows why they are there. If they do not have a ticket they will be sent back to class.
- Please follow the nurse's stoplight schedule.
- If you send a student to the office please make sure they have a pass.
- Please make sure you are not sending large printing jobs to the basic printers, please send these to the copiers.
- Lunch counts and attendance need to be entered by 9:30, or Terri will start calling.
Recycling
- Mrs. Earls will take this over this year. Please remember to have your bins out in the hallway on recycling day!
